Cover Girls

Here's another one! The photographer sent this to me today. If anyone speaks Italian, we'd love a translation and if anyone is going to be in Italy anytime soon, we'd love a copy of this magazine! How fun! I can just hear Katie now telling her friends that she was on the cover of an Italian parenting magazine when she was a baby :)

The Cute Baby on BabyCenter

Since Katie and I did a stock photography shoot with Jamie Grill in May, I have been waiting to see where the photos ended up. I knew they were out there. Then, finally, the other night I found one on BabyCenter!! If you go to the site, click on the baby tab, then the photo tab, and you will see an article on baby names (I'll post a shot of the screens below if you can't get there). It's not one where you can see her whole adorable face but it's still fun to see our Katie on a popular national website! Please let me know if you spot any of our other pics out there!

Fine Motor Skills

Since our sweet little 14-month old isn't walking without our assistance yet she is getting ample time to develop her fine motor skills. One of her favorite toys is from Aunt Lauren. She loves putting the little wooden pieces in their places. It's one of my favorites, too, because for some reason she always scoots over to me to give me a kiss once she's gotten them all in :) Enjoy!

A Great Trip

We returned to Harrisonburg yesterday after a 12-day trip up North. It was a wonderful time! Katie did amazingly well during the MANY hours we spent in the car. She is a very good traveler and we are so grateful for her easy-going nature. She loved spending time with her grandparents and aunts in Bethlehem and her grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins in Maine. All of her cousins are about 6 months apart so it was a busy house! We all really treasured the time we had together with everyone. After our visit in Monson, we headed to Boston where Andrew was presenting at the American Historical Association meeting. We stayed in a really nice hotel right in the heart of the city and had lots of time to walk around. Here are a few of the pictures from our trip. Thanks to everyone who made it so special!
Katie loves her Aunt Lauren. Come back to the East Coast soon, Loe!

Taking after her Daddy

Katie loved watching her older cousins, Samuel and Malachi

It took a few days, but Katie warmed up to her Grandpa Witmer, especially when she realized he would show her videos of herself on his big computer screen :)

We even got to go sledding, even though there wasn't much snow on the ground!
